DJ All You Can DJ

Here's a set of Top 40 music programs sponsored by the US Army - specifically, the Forces Command unit from Fort McPherson, GA. The base no longer exists.

Each (dated) side is only 15 minutes - radio pretty much stopped doing 15 minute shows in the 1950's, so I'm not sure what the programming idea was here. Maybe these counted as PSAs for the Army.

The theme music is very 70's groovy.

The US Army Forces Command Top 40 Music Program - Update (2-15-76 and 2-22-76)

I found this disc sleeveless in my grandmothers old console stereo recently, so it's not in the best of shape - there's one skip I simply couldn't eliminate.

Eleanor and the Wolf

Here's an interesting version of the classic Peter and the Wolf - a narration from Eleanor Roosevelt with the Boston Symphony Orchestra from August 3, 1948. While I haven't compared timings, I suspect that it may be a bit shortened to fit the 10" LP format that Columbia was promoting at the time.
