All the power of your average toaster
Two airchecks from WUTK-FM in the mid/late 80's; probably from within the 10 PM -2 AM timeframe.
Those of you who were there during that time will remember the little cheap cassette recorder that sat to the left of the main board and that went into record when the mic switch was turned on (or you could pull the remote cable and just record the whole airshift, as was done here).
Set 01
Highlights:
Robben Ford, Box of Frogs, Clive Pig, The Wrong Band, Tina Turner, The Buzzcocks
Set 02
Highlights:
Run-DMC, Lou Reed, Empty Feels, Pop-O-Pies (and I love that the mis-speed start was kept on the cart), Flipper, Tina Turner (again), Ozzy, Gefilte Joe, Weird Al, Scott Beach, The Members, The Call, Trio - hmm, I kind of get the impression that I may have strayed from the rotation and just played what I wanted to out of the carts.
